Project Experience

Mercedes-Benz Projects

  • System Integration & Troubleshooting: Responsible for software architecture integration and optimization of real-time QNX/Linux systems. Worked closely with Mercedes-Benz pre-integration teams in Germany and China for software upgrades, providing sensor validation, calibration, and software adaptation for multiple vehicle models.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collected large amounts of data packages for perception optimization. Developed comprehensive toolchains for data tagging, monitoring, and mining, enabling efficient hypothesis verification through effective feedback loops between Chinese and German teams.
  • Performance Optimization: Drove multiple iterations of HDmap and World model software modules, ensuring CP/HNP/APA/SVS functions on MMA achieved the same or better performance levels as on ATGB.
  • Field Support: Provided multiple successful demonstrations for Mercedes-Benz executives, including a zero-disengagement L4 demo and several demos, resolving issues under tight timelines.
  • Cross-team Collaboration: Maintained code mainline integrity while adapting to vehicle-specific requirements, improving efficiency through parallel testing methods, enabling testing of multiple MPU versions in a single day.

Lotus Project

  • System Support & Troubleshooting: Handled system development-related tasks, resolving DFDI-related issues within one hour, updating DFDI for Lotus vehicles in Europe, and assisting customers in better utilizing diagnostic tools.
  • Data Analysis & Mining: Analyzed over 400 issues and drove perception algorithm iterations. Led successful data mining tasks, identifying more than 7,000 specific scenario data packages.
  • Function Enhancement: Improved performance of various ADAS functions including ACC, TSI, AEB, ADB, and LKA. Led data collection activities in EU/US, acquiring over 11,000 manually recorded data packages.
  • Tool Development: Drove the specification, development, and deployment of manual tagging tools for data collection in the US and Canada, optimizing analysis methods through rapid iterations to meet customer needs.
  • North America Support: Provided technical support for customer data collection activities in North America, tracking collection volumes, checking data quality, and providing feedback to optimize collection routes.

Audi/Volkswagen Projects

  • Software Development: Developed series components for trajectory planning for Audi AVP project (SAE Level-4), implementing algorithms using C++/CUDA and optimizing CUDA code to improve runtime efficiency.
  • Testing & Validation: Conducted road tests and validated implementations in ADTF. At Volkswagen Group Research, analyzed cut-in scenarios and compared LiDAR and radar sensor data.
